Dr. Raju is a distinguished Yoga Guru in Sydney and currently works as an Aerospace Scientist and R&D Centre Manager at UNSW SYDNEY. He has over 36+ years of personal Yoga practice and has been teaching Yoga for the past 22+ years. Dr. Raju is a Senior Teacher from Yoga Australia, the highest recognition in Australia. He teaches what he practices and practices what he teaches. Based on advanced Yogic practices, Dr Raju has been an Ekāhāri – has had food only once a day for the past 21 years.

Having explored and learnt different types of Yoga traditions ranging from Siddha Samadhi Yoga to the Himalayan sages, Dr. Raju has designed his own way of teaching Hatha Yoga in a Scientific way. His approach involves traditionally practicing yoga and progressing towards Meditation without visualisation or imagination. A typical class includes Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Ayurveda, Lifestyle tips and suggestions, Naturopathy, and approaches to maintaining a yogic lifestyle in day-to-day life. The focus of the Yoga training is to move from the known to the unknown, and from the body to the mind (and spiritual level), delivered scientifically. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Sanskrit.
